CAN YOU FIX THE CRACKS IN MY FLOOR?
Yes, we make sure your damaged areas are properly prepared and mended so that our product will adhere to your floor for long lasting beauty.
CAN YOU LEVEL THE FLOOR?
We cannot level the floor, but we will make it smoother, and with our coating system, once applied, will follow the current profile of the floor.
MY FLOOR HAS OIL STAINS. WILL THEY BE VISIBLE?
No, not when our products are used. We will clean and prepare the floor to prevent satins from migrating to the surface.
I HAVE NEW CONCRETE DO YOU STILL HAVE TO PREP?
Yes, preparation of the concrete, whether new or old, is the most important part of the installation process. Grinding the floor opens up microscopic pores to that the concrete will allow the polyurea coating to adhere more permanently and ensure a long-lasting, quality flooring.
HOW DURABLE IS YOUR PRODUCT IN HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS?
Our floors are exceptionally durable. We use the same industrial strength products on both residential and commercial floors.
DO WE HAVE TO REMOVE EVERYTHING OR DO YOU DO THAT?
We require the floor to be clear of all items before we begin.
WHAT DO I DO WITH THE THINGS IN MY GARAGE/BASEMENT?
We can help you arrange a storage container similar to PODS delivered to your residence several days prior to your scheduled installation, and completion of your flooring. The POD will be at the customer’s cost.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL A FLOOR?
Our process takes one day to complete most normal sized jobs (750 sa. ft.). Pool decking will take up to a week to install due to extra detailing when working near the pool’s edge
I HAVE AN OLD COATING DOES IT HAVE TO BE REMOVED?
Yes, to insure the best possible surface for applying your new coating, we use a diamond tip grinder to remove the old coating to open up microscopic pores so the Polyurea coating will adhere more permanently.
DO WE HAVE TO BE HOME WHEN YOU DO THE INSTALLATION?
While it is not required, it is preferred that someone be there.
IS YOUR COATING KIDS/PETS FRIENDLY?
We use low odor products and vacuums attached to our diamond grinders to reduce the dust. Once installed, our products are completely safe.
WILL GRINDING CREATE A LOT OF DUST IN MY GARAGE OR HOUSE?
We take every precaution to minimize dust. Vacuums are attached to our diamond grinders, doorways and vents are sealed, preventing dust from entering any area of your home. Some light dust may be present, but it is minimal and will be cleaned upon completion of the installation.
WHAT IS THE TYPICAL LIFE OF POLYASPARTIC FLOORS?
All Sealed Up wants you to be 100% satisfied. We pride ourselves on installing only the best quality coating system i the industry backed with our 5-year warranty. With normal wear and tear you can expect many more years of use and wear.
WILL MY COATING TURN YELLOW LIKE EPOXY?
No, this is one of the advantages of a Polyaspartic floor coating, unlike epoxies, it is UV stable.
WHEN CAN I WALK AND DRIVE ON MY FLOOR AFTER INSTALLATION?
We ask that you do not walk on the surface for at least 6 hours nor drive on it for 24 hours.
WILL MY COATING STAIN?
Our professionally sealed floors repel stains and are easily cleaned.
WILL I HAVE TO RESEAL MY COATING?
No. Your coating will last the life of the professionally installed floor when our cleaning and maintaining specifications are followed. If it is not properly cared for and maintained, it risks compromise.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY NEW FLOOR?
To keep your new floor looking great be sure dirt and/or debris is removed weekly, and spills are wiped up as soon as possible. We recommend mopping your new surface with a solution of water and PH neutral cleanser (i.e. Simple Green Pro) as needed.
